Hamburg is an important North German port city, which is connected to the North Sea via the Elbe.
The city is criss-crossed by hundreds of canals, some of which are called Fleete, and also has extensive parks and green spaces. Boats sail on the Binnenalster close to the city centre and there are numerous cafés around the reservoir. The Jungfernstieg connects the new town with the old town, where landmarks such as the main church of St. Michaelis from the 18th century are located.
The Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, the Speicherstadt, the Reeperbahn and more Hamburg has a lot of sights that you absolutely must see. Hamburg also offers many international restaurants. But our recommendation would be the real original Hamburg cuisine. You can find this for example in "Alt Hamburger Aalspeicher" or at the restaurant "Brodersen".
Have fun in Hamburg!
